The Doddridge County Commission has authorized the President to place for sale real and personal property to be sold at public auction on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 3:00 PM on the front Courthouse steps. All properties will be sold to the highest bidder with payment to be rendered at time of sale.

Description of real and personal property to be sold:

Filing cabinet measuring 33.25”w x 38.5”h x 24”d, containing 18 individual cannisters measuring 5.25”w x 11.5”h x 24”d

Filing cabinet measuring 38.75”w x 38.5”h x 24”d, containing 21 individual cannisters measuring 5.25”w x 11.5”h x 24”d

The Doddridge County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein.

BEGINNING at a point in the center of the road, in a line of land of J. Guy and Thurman Stout; thence, leaving the said property line and running by two lines, essentially with the center of the said road, N. 74° 00’ E. 281.7 feet to a point; S. 88° 17’ E., 209.8 feet to a point opposite and just beyond a large Maple in the fence line; thence, leaving the said road, passing just to the east of the said tree, and running through land of the said Grantors, S. 17° 21’ E. 262.3 feet to an iron stake on the bank of the said Creek; thence running with the meanders of the center line of said Greenbrier Creek, essentially in a straight line, S. 76° 24’ W., 467.9 feet to a point in the said creek center line, in the property line of the said J. Guy and Thurman Stout; thence leaving the said creek and running with the last mentioned property line, N. 13° 00’ W., 304.7 feet, passing an iron pipe driven at the road bank, to the beginning containing 3.3 acres.
